Their homes and barns: most of them have thatched roofs, their wood beams were exposed and you can see them.
ReplyDeleteOur homes and barns:Most of the houses have more color in them, most of them don't thatched roofs, and you can't see the wood beams.
here are some differences:The ones they had wood beams exposed. While we don't have them exposed. Here are some similarities:We both have wood beams and we have big houses like Germany.

All the buildings are made out of wood.
Today's Buildings:
Some buildings today don't have chimneys.
Some houses are not made of wood.
The Irish house's are small and are white on the side. The English house's are small have lots of wood supporting them. The German house's are big and also have wood supporting them.
ReplyDeleteThe way they our barns, churches, and homes look today are way different then way back a long time ago for example the English houses were mostly made of clay and our homes are built out of steel, bricks, metal.
ReplyDeleteA way these houses are alike is that the elevation is very alike to the houses we have now. A way the Irish houses are different is that I noticed they had 2 chimneys.
ReplyDeleteWell I will say that there are differences and similarities like the color is different. Our barns are red and white, and houses are multi colored. But some houses are white like the old days to.

ReplyDeleteIrish houses are white and small and their roofs are thatched.English houses are kinda dull colored and their roofs look like the're made out of wood.German houses are white and red and their houses are made out of brick.
ReplyDeleteMost of the Barns,Houses, and Churches are made out of wood and some of them have chimneys. The Barns,Houses and Churches are made out of brick and some of our houses don't have chimneys at all.
ReplyDeleteA few differences between these buildings and buildings today are that if any of these pictures are of churches, then unlike churches today, there are none of the big, colorful, fancy windows. Also the houses are not colorful like some of the ones today. Dispite the differences these buildings look very similar to ones today.
ReplyDeleteThe homes, churches and barns have changed a lot over the years. The homes, churches and barns are a lot nicer inside and out. Soyes the homes, churches and barns are different.
ReplyDeleteEnglish buildings didn't have many decorations, nor color.
ReplyDeleteGerman buildings were nearly touching the clouds!
Irish buildings were usually white.
Buildings today usually have color, decorations, and they probably aren't as high as the sun!
